About this site

Source

A one-unit campsite in a big grassy field above Guyishton Lake, in the Burns Lake area. The setting is open rather than treed, and the lake is below.

Getting there is the catch. The road is narrow and rough, so it suits small four-wheel-drive vehicles, and the alternative is walking the last 600 m with your gear. The site is first come, first served, with fishing and hiking on hand.

Tchesinkut Lake and the nearest pumps are both about 7 km away. Burns Lake, about 8 km off, has 47 mountain bike trails, and the Bear Dens and Eagle Creek trails sit within about 7 km of camp. The Kager Lake trailhead is about 10 km out.
