SourceA forested three-unit site on a small lake in the Houston area, user maintained, with a gravel boat launch and rainbow trout in the water. Bring a licence if you plan to fish, and read the freshwater regulations for the lake before you cast.
Camping is first come, first served, on gravel access, with the water about 0.6 km from the sites.
Wistaria is about 9 km away, but fuel is a real drive: Takysie Lake Store & Resort is the nearest at about 35 km, so carry what you need for the round trip.
