About this site
SourceOotsa Landing sits on a beach along Ootsa Lake, part of the man-made Nechako Reservoir near Burns Lake. You can hand launch a small boat straight off the sand and swim from the same spot. The lake is big and takes strong winds, so watch conditions before you paddle out.
There are 3 sites, first come, first served, on gravel access.
The community of Ootsa Lake is about 4 km away, and the Takysie Lake Store and Resort, the nearest fuel, is roughly 16 km, so fuel up before you head out along the reservoir. Little Boden Lake is about 9 km off.
