About this site
SourceA sub-alpine lake in cedar and hemlock forest, Labour Day Lake holds rainbow trout and a trail that circles the water in about 6 km. Swimming is on the list as well.
The camping is walk-in, spread along that trail, and first come, first served, with 3 sites in total. Access to the trailhead is gravel and the lake is about 0.4 km in.
Errington is about 20 km away and the Gas n Go is right in town, which handles both food and fuel. The Englishman River Falls trailhead is about 16 km off, and Parksville, with 142 mountain bike trails, about 25 km.
