Supplies want thinking about ahead of time. South Forks is about 12 km off and the nearest fuel about 15 km, so come with a full tank and a full cooler.
Nanaimo's mountain bike network, 393 trails, is about 18 km from camp, which makes this a workable base if you do not mind the drive to the trailhead.
