About this site
SourceEnglishman River Falls Provincial Park wraps two waterfalls in old and second-growth forest of fir, cedar, hemlock and maple, with bridges crossing the canyon right where the river plunges. The falls trailhead is 300 m from camp, so the signature walk happens before breakfast.
The campground lists about 104 sites, a mix of reservable and first come, first served, on paved roads. Swimming, fishing, hiking and biking are all in reach, and the park makes a comfortable base for south-central Vancouver Island.
Errington, about 5 km away, covers fuel and basics. Parksville's 142-trail riding network sits about 9 km off.
