About this site
SourceThe San Juan River runs past this rec site near Port Renfrew, and a few giant spruce stand over the camping area. Fishing and swimming happen right there, which is most of the reason to stop.
The site was expanded in 2018 and now holds 18 sites, all first come, first served at $18 a night, with gravel access.
Port Renfrew is about 18 km away for groceries, and the Pacheedaht Pit Stop sells fuel about 16 km out, so top up there before you drive the last stretch. Pixie Lake is about 1.2 km from camp and the Red Creek Fir Trailhead about 3 km.
