Port Renfrew is about 16 km away and the Pacheedaht Pit Stop, the nearest fuel, about 15 km, so top up before you make the turn. There is no quick run back to town once you are set up.
The Red Creek Fir trailhead is about 4.7 km from camp, and Gilbert Lake about 3.4 km if you feel like seeing another lake.
