About this site
SourceFairy Lake is where the San Juan River widens out, and the recreation site wraps that shoreline in forest with a gravel beach for swimming. The boat launch takes craft up to 14 feet, which sets the tone: canoes and small aluminum boats, nothing that throws a wake.
There are 32 sites, first come, first served at $20 a night on gravel, with supervision on site.
Port Renfrew is 6.2 km away and fuel at the Pacheedaht Pit Stop is closer still at 4.7 km. The West Coast trailhead is 4.8 km from camp, and Two Duck Lake 5.1 km.
