About this site
SourceJuan de Fuca Provincial Park runs along the wild west coast of southern Vancouver Island, where the draw is surf, marine wildlife and the 47 km Juan de Fuca Marine Trail. The trail is rugged and built for experienced backcountry hikers, though several easy-to-moderate stretches make good day hikes, and Botanical Beach and China Beach are destinations on their own.
Camping centres on the China Beach area, with about 125 sites listed, a mix of reservable and first come, first served, on paved access. The Jurassic Grove and Chin Beach trailhead sits 800 m from camp.
Port Renfrew is about 14 km up the road for supplies and fuel, so stock up on the way through.
