About this site
SourcePaddlers use Khartoum Lake as a side trip off the Powell Forest Canoe Route, and it is one of the bigger lakes on that circuit. The site is treed, the water is about 1.4 km off, and swimming, fishing and a boat launch cover the rest.
Nine sites, first come, first served, on gravel, and user maintained, which means the state you find it in is the state the last group left it.
Earls Cove is about 18 km away and the nearest fuel roughly 28 km, so fill up on the Powell River side before you head in. The A-Branch cabin is about 3 km from camp and the E-Branch cabin about 4 km.
