About this site
SourceBuilt on the old delta of Scotch Creek, Shuswap Lake Provincial Park gives you a kilometre of sand and pebble beach, a large boat launch and an adventure playground, which covers most of what a family week needs. Copper Island lies 1.3 km offshore with a 2.8 km hiking trail on it, and camping and campfires are not permitted there.
The park lists 330 sites on paved roads, running on reservations, with fire pits, pit toilets and drinking water. Swimming, fishing, hiking and biking all happen inside the park, and there is a self-guiding nature trail.
Celista is about 3.2 km away for supplies and a Centex about 3.5 km for fuel, so restocking midweek takes minutes. Little White Lake is about 11 km out.
