About this site
SourceBirdwatching is what sets Herman Lake apart. A 50 m boardwalk crosses the marsh to the lake edge, and trails run around the water, so you can be out looking at things a minute after leaving the tent.
The site is small and timbered, with one campsite, first come, first served on gravel. Nobody is paid to look after it, so it stays decent only if visitors keep it that way.
Anglemont is about 5 km away and the country store with the fuel about 7 km. Little White Lake sits about 11 km off, and the Larch Hills riding at Salmon Arm is about 25 km on.
