About this site

Source

Bear Spring Eco Retreat is a small private camp in the Beasley area, close enough to services that you are not committing to a wilderness weekend. Taghum is about 3 km off and a Shell about 2.2 km, so a forgotten cooler is an errand rather than a disaster.

It is a paid site with paved access. Nothing further about facilities is recorded, so pack as though you are bringing your own everything.

Trails are the draw. Giveout Creek at Morning Mountain is about 5.5 km away, the Sproule Creek area about 6 km, and the wider Nelson and Kaslo network, 226 trails, starts about 9.9 km out. On foot, the South Slocan trailhead is about 7.4 km and Saddle Cabin at Snowater about 12 km. Rockslide Lake is about 9 km.
