About this site
SourceBeatton Provincial Park is a year-round park on the shores of Charlie Lake, covering 320 hectares near Fort St. John. Summer is for swimming, fishing and hiking; winter brings over 15 km of groomed cross-country ski trails graded for every level, with deer and moose about.
About 39 sites are listed and the campground runs on reservations, with pit toilets, potable water, fire pits and a boat launch on the lake.
The nearest listed community is the South Peace Hutterite Colony about 8 km away, and fuel is about 20 km out, so top up in Fort St. John before you settle in. Tower Lake sits about 17 km off.
