About this site
SourceCharlie Lake Provincial Park sits on the southwestern shore of its 13 km lake in the rolling country of the Interior Plains near Fort St. John. It is a low-effort, high-comfort stop: forested trails to wander, canoeing off the shore, and a day-use area with a playground, big grass field, picnic shelter and horseshoe pits.
About 57 sites are listed, some reservable and some first come, first served, on paved access, with swimming, fishing and a boat launch on the lake.
Fuel is under a kilometre away and the community of Charlie Lake about 4 km, so nothing about the logistics is hard.
