About this site
SourceBig Bar Lake Provincial Park offers lake camping in the high country northwest of Clinton, with the standard provincial-park kit: pit toilets, potable water, fire pits, a boat launch, and swimming, fishing, hiking and biking from camp.
About 46 sites are listed, some reservable and some first come, first served, on paved access. The Jesmond fire lookout makes a good outing about 7 km away, and Canoe Creek Warm Spring sits about 24 km off for the curious.
Distances run long out here: Clinton and the nearest listed fuel are both about 29 km, so arrive with the tank full and the cooler packed.
