SourceWhale Lake is a small lake southwest of 100 Mile House, and the recreation site on it covers the basics: fishing, camping and somewhere to put a car-top boat in.
Camping is two sites, first come, first served, reached on gravel.
100 Mile House is about 27 km away and fuel sits at roughly the same distance, so make that your last stop for groceries and gas. Gustafsen Lake is about 4 km off if you want to fish two lakes in one trip.
