SourceKelly Lake is about 0.8 km from camp and the community of the same name about 0.3 km, which makes Downing Provincial Campground one of the easier small parks to settle into. It sits in the Clinton area on paved road, run by Shuswap Adams Parks Ltd.
There are 14 sites at $18 a night, with pit toilets, potable water and fire pits, and RVs fit.
Fuel is the exception to how close everything else is: the nearest Petro-Canada is about 15.8 km away, so gas up in Clinton on the way past. The Porcupine Creek Trail starts about 8.1 km from camp.
