About this site
SourceGladstone Provincial Park's Texas Creek campground is the vehicle-accessible way into a big stretch of Selkirk foothills wilderness on Christina Lake, a lake with a reputation as one of the warmest and clearest in Canada.
About 63 sites are listed, a mix of reservable and first come, first served, on paved access. Short trails run from the campground down to the water, where pocket beaches hand out privacy in small doses. Behind camp the park protects kokanee spawning creeks, old-growth cedar and hemlock, and winter range for deer and elk.
Services are a drive: Fife is about 19 km and the nearest listed fuel about 20 km, so arrive with the tank and cooler full.
