SourceMeziadin Lake Provincial Park is the camp people plan northern trips around: a lakeshore campground two hours north of Kitwanga, positioned for day trips to the Bear Glacier and the border mining towns of Stewart and Hyder, Alaska.
About 66 sites are listed, a mix of reservable and first come, first served, on paved access. The lake handles swimming, fishing and boating, and the setting, water backed by forested mountains, does the rest.
Meziadin Junction and fuel are both under 2 km away, which is a rare convenience this far north. Stock groceries seriously all the same; this is remote country.
