SourceClose to the highway on a small lake, with the Kitwanga Range in view, Bonus Lake is built for people covering distance who would rather sleep by water than in a pullout. Wildlife viewing is part of the appeal, and there is a rough launch for a canoe.
Three sites, first come, first served, user maintained, on gravel.
This is a long way from services. Nass Camp is about 43 km off and the nearest fuel, the Gitanyo Gas Bar, about 52 km, so run the tank full through this stretch. McKnight Lake is about 6 km away.
