About this site
SourceDerrick Lake is a rustic four-site camp in the Stewart area. Two sites sit above the water in mature hemlock, and the other two are further along the road beside the boat launch and dock. Locals fish it for cutthroat trout.
Camping is first come, first served on gravel access, with no bookings taken.
Resupply is a haul from here. Nass Camp is about 46 km away and the nearest fuel, the Gitanyo Gas Bar, about 56 km, so fill up well before the turnoff. McKnight Lake sits about 9 km off.
