SourceRoadside and right on the water, the campsite at Mitten Lake in the Hazelton area is built for short, easy outings: a small dock, a gravel boat launch, swimming from shore and cutthroat trout for anyone who brings a rod.
There is one unit here, first come, first served, with gravel access.
This is a long way from a store. Gitanyow and the Gitanyo Gas Bar are both about 34 km away, so do the shopping and the gas in one stop. Little Fish Lake is about 7 km off if you feel like moving water.
