About this site
SourceSpace for one camping party, a short trail down to the water, and a table, fire ring and pit toilet to go with it. That is the whole of Gates Lake, and for a fishing overnight it is enough.
The site is first come, first served on gravel road, user-maintained, with a launch for something small. The lake is about half a kilometre from camp.
This is remote country. McLeod Lake and its fuel are both about 45 km away, so come fuelled and provisioned rather than planning a run into town.
