SourceRight beside the Teardrop-Chief Forest Service Road in the Fort St. James area, Teardrop Lake is a small site about 0.6 km from water stocked with rainbow trout. Fishing is the whole reason to point the truck here.
There are three sites, first come, first served, on gravel access, and the site is user-maintained.
Distances are long out here: Chief Lake is about 41 km away and the nearest fuel, a Gas Plus, is about 50 km. Do all your shopping and fuelling well before the turnoff.
