SourceThe sites here are open and sunny, spread along the northwest shore of Third Lake near Merritt, with a boat launch for getting out on the water. Fishing brings most people, and hunters use it too.
There is room for 4 parties, first come, first served. The sites are big enough for large camping units, though the access road is rated four-wheel drive, so weigh the rig against the route.
Spences Bridge is about 15 km away and the Copper Valley Grocery and Gas, about 25 km out, has the nearest fuel, so come provisioned. The Pimainus Lakes sit about 0.4 km from camp.
