About this site
SourceLavoie Lake is a small site on the eastern shore of a fishing lake in the Vanderhoof area, and the fishing is the whole reason to make the drive.
Five sites, first come, first served, on gravel access, with a boat launch. It is a compact spot, so a small group and a boat is about the right shape for a trip out here.
Plan the logistics carefully. The closest town, Lily Lake, is about 46 km away and the nearest fuel is a Co-op about 62 km out, so fuel and food both need sorting long before you get here. Messy Lake is about 20 km off.
