SourceThis is a one-party site on a small lake near Vanderhoof, and that is most of the appeal. You get the shoreline to yourself, with nobody to negotiate a view with.
The single site is first come, first served, reached on gravel. Nothing is laid on, so bring everything you plan to use.
Supplies sit a long way out. Lily Lake is about 37 km away and the nearest fuel, a Co-op, about 55 km, so do your shopping and fuelling before you leave the highway. Messy Lake is about 19 km off if you want a second bit of water to fish.
