About this site
SourceTwo backcountry cabins, Ripple Ridge and Lightning Strike, sit in the Creston area under a partnership agreement. Each has a wood stove, tables and benches, and a sleeping loft, so the walk in ends under a roof.
Overnight use runs $10 per person, and bookings go through the operator at rippleridge.ca. The road in is gravel, and hiking is the listed activity around the cabins.
Nelway is about 20 km away and the nearest fuel, an Esso, about 25 km, so tank up before the turn. Monk Lake sits about 4 km off, Char Creek about 8 km, and Curtis Lake about 10 km.
