About this site
Meta is a camping area near Salmo, and it comes with one big condition: camping here is only for people attending the Shambhala Music Festival. Without a ticket, plan to stay somewhere else.
For festival-goers, the access is paved and it is a paid site. Nelway is the nearest town at about 10.6 km, with an Esso about 10.9 km away, so bring what you need in with you rather than counting on a supply run.
Rosebud Lake is about 5.2 km off and the Delaurentiis Bluffs Trailhead about 10.5 km, if the schedule leaves you a free morning.
