SourceIslaht Lake, which also goes by Horseshoe Lake, is electric motors only, so the water stays calm for fishing. It is a reservoir, and the level moves through the year, which changes how the shoreline looks from one visit to the next.
There are 3 sites, first come, first served, and the access is rated 4x4, so bring something that can handle it. The site is user maintained.
West Kelowna is about 22 km away and its Petro-Pass about 21 km. West Lake is about 0.5 km off, and the Smith Creek riding at West Kelowna about 21 km.
