About this site
SourceA sand beach and fresh water on site are what make Gooding Cove worth the drive, out on the west coast of Vancouver Island in the Port Alice area. The 4 Wheel Drive Association of BC helps manage it, which tells you plenty about the road.
Access is four-wheel drive and remote, camping is first come, first served, and there is room for two parties.
Winter Harbour is about 14 km away, and the nearest fuel, Port Alice Petroleum, is roughly 33 km back, so fill up there rather than out here. Botel Lake is about 11 km off.
