SourceHanham Lake is a hunting and exploring camp first and a lakeside one second. The 2 sites sit above the water in the Quesnel area, with a narrow boat ramp below that really wants a 4x4 to use.
It runs first come, first served, on gravel access, and fishing is the other draw. Boat Lake is about 2.6 km away.
Supplies are the planning problem here. Punchaw is about 47.8 km off and the nearest fuel, the Three Nations Store and Lodge, about 52.1 km, so arrive with a full tank, water and food for the whole stay.
