SourceOpen grassland and aspen on the slopes above the lake give TATLA LAKE / Tatl'ah a different look from the forested sites around it. Anglers and swimmers both use the shoreline below.
Five spots, first come, first served, on gravel. The approach to the boat launch is steep enough that large units should not attempt it, so this suits a cartopper better than a trailered boat.
West Chilcotin Trading is about 8 km away for fuel and supplies, which is close by Chilcotin standards. Kleena Kleene is about 24 km off, and Pollywog Lake about 1 km from camp.
