SourceMountain views and open water are the pitch at Sapeye Lake, out in the Tatla Lake country. Fishing, boating and canoeing all work here, and the Sapeye to Waterlily Lake Trail gives walkers and bird watchers somewhere to go.
The access road is steep and narrow, so take it slowly and think twice with a big trailer. Eight sites here, first come, first served, at $14 a night, with a boat launch.
Waterlily Lake is about 2 km away and Bluff Lake about 6 km. The store and pumps at West Chilcotin Trading are roughly 14 km off and Kleena Kleene about 18 km, so the shopping run is a real drive either way.
