SourceCochin Lake / Gwedzin sits on the southern shore of its lake in the Tatla Lake area, and fishing is what brings people out. Anglers report rainbow trout in the 1.5 to 2 pound range. There is swimming and a boat launch as well.
The lake lies within declared Indigenous territory, which is worth knowing before you go. Five sites, first come, first served, on gravel access.
Tatlayoko Lake is about 10 km away, and West Chilcotin Trading, about 19 km out, is the fuel stop to plan around.
