SourceRail Lake Recreation Site sits at the northeast end of the lake, north of Lac La Hache in the 100 Mile House area. Fishing and a quiet picnic are what people come for.
The 2 sites are first come, first served, with gravel access and a boat launch for getting a small boat on the water.
Lac La Hache is about 15 km away for groceries and the Canco about 14 km, so restocking is easy.
