About this site
SourceGet off the ferry, drive a short way, and you can be set up beside Harris Lake the same evening. The site sits right on the lake edge in the Galena area, with room for a couple of tents, a picnic table, a fire pit and an outhouse.
It is first come, first served, user-maintained, on gravel access, with fishing from the shore.
Halcyon is about 4 km away, though the nearest fuel on record is about 34 km, so fill the tank before the ferry. Halfway Hot Springs is about 9 km from camp, which is an easy soak to work into the trip.
