About this site
SourceRoom for groups of three or four vehicles makes Erie Creek unusual among the recreation sites in the Salmo area. The sites sit in semi-open forest with shade for part of the day, and the creek runs clear right beside camp.
Four sites, first come, first served, on gravel, with fishing on the creek.
Salmo is about 11 km away and the nearest Centex fuel about 9 km. Grady Lake is roughly 8 km out, the Barrett Lake cabin and lake about 10 km, the Delaurentiis Bluffs trailhead about 12 km, and Castlegar with its mountain bike trails around 21 km.
