About this site
SourceBlackwater Point is a walk-in site out on a point of Blackwater Lake, off Blackwater Main. The trail in runs about 100 m, so you carry the last stretch and get a tent spot looking down the lake.
Camping is first come, first served, with gravel access to the pull-out and a small spot to slide a canoe in. It is user-maintained, so leave it clean for whoever follows.
Granite Bay is about 21 km away and fuel at Gas n Go about 26 km, so fill the tank on the way through. Surprise Lake is about 3 km off, the Trout Creek Falls trailhead on Mohun Creek about 14 km, Pine Marten about 8 km, and Campbell River with its 277 mountain bike trails about 28 km.
