About this site

Source

An old railway trestle runs through this site, with campsites at either end of it. Cedar Lake itself is small and easy to explore by canoe, and there is a boat launch for anyone bringing their own.

Three sites, first come, first served, on gravel in the Campbell River area. The site is user maintained, so carry your garbage out and leave it tidy for the next party.

Granite Bay is about 19 km away and the nearest fuel is about 26 km, so sort gas out in advance. Muskeg Lake is under a kilometre off, the Trout Creek Falls trailhead on the Mohun Creek Trail about 16 km, and Campbell River, with 277 mountain bike trails, about 29 km.
