About this site
SourceAmor Lake Recreation Site comes in two parts: a single spot beside the boat launch, and the rest across the bridge on the south side of the creek. The launch is the only one on this lake, so anyone putting a boat in starts here.
Five sites in total, first come, first served, on gravel access. The site is user-maintained, so treat the state you leave it in as the whole maintenance budget. Fishing rounds it out.
Granite Bay is about 21 km away and the Gas n Go about 25 km, so sort out fuel before you head up the road. Surprise Lake is about 2 km off, the Trout Creek Falls trailhead on Mohun Creek about 13 km, and Campbell River and its 277 mountain bike trails about 26 km.
