About this site
SourceA flat, open site along the Kettle River in the Cherryville area, laid out so a group can camp together rather than scatter. The river is the whole attraction.
Eight sites, first come, first served, on gravel, and nobody is paid to clean up after you.
Read the fishing rules before you cast: the river is closed to fishing from July 25 to August 25, a bait ban runs from April 1 to October 31, and rainbow trout go back in the water year round.
Cherryville and its Tempo station are both about 33 km away, so load the truck before you set out. Loch Larsen is about 9 km off.
