SourceThis is a horse camp first. Fishtrap Creek is set up for riders heading out on the Seven Sisters Equestrian Trails near Barriere, with corrals by the sites and a larger group corral around the shelter.
There are 11 sites, first come, first served, on gravel access. Walkers get the same trail network, so it works as a hiking base too, though the layout is built around horses. Note the Skull Mountain motor vehicle prohibition in the area before you plan anything on a machine.
Barriere is about 9 km away and fuel about 7 km, so town is close if you forget something. Snake Lake sits about 4 km off.
