About this site
SourceEast of Kathy Lake, in the Cherryville area, Holstein Lake is a small marshy lake with a site about 0.2 km from the water and a cartop launch for anything you can lift.
Getting there is the catch: access runs through an old logged area and is poor enough to want 4x4. The site holds 2 parties, first come, first served, and it is kept up by the people who use it.
Cherryville is about 10.2 km out and the nearest pumps about 9.2 km, so sort out fuel before you turn onto the bush road. SilverStar Bike Park and its 54 trails are about 27.1 km away if the weekend turns into a riding trip.
