SourceA cartop boat launch, a canoe route and rainbow trout make Hydraulic Lake worth the gravel drive out of the Kelowna area. Motors are held to 10 hp, so the water stays calm, and the Kettle Valley Rail Trail runs close enough to ride or walk from camp.
The site has 30 spots, first come, first served, at $18 a night.
Myra Canyon is about 10 km away, and the nearest fuel, a Black Mountain Esso, is about 16 km off, so fill up before you leave pavement. The McCulloch cross country ski trails start under a kilometre from the sites, Summit Lake is about 1 km away, and Bike Big White's 25 trails are about 18 km out.
