SourceWap Lake West sits in timber on a small lake, with two camping spots and a bit of overflow parking beside the road. Fishing and swimming are both on offer, and the boat launch is steep, usable mainly when the water is high.
Both sites are first come, first served, with gravel access, and the place is user-maintained.
Malakwa is about 19 km away for supplies, and no fuel stop is listed closer, so sort gas out on the way in. Revelstoke is about 29 km off, with 204 mountain bike trails if the fishing goes slow.
