About this site

Source

The Carrier name for this lake means fish come here, which is a fair description of what people drive out for. Kuyakuz Lake runs about 9 km long, and the campsite sits in spruce on the shore in the Vanderhoof area.

There are 7 units, first come, first served, with gravel access. The lake is long enough to spend a few days working different water.

Distance is the main thing to plan around. Nazko is about 69 km away and the nearest fuel, at the Three Nations Store and Lodge, about 71 km, so plan the fuel and the food before you go.
