SourceSawmill Lake camps you on an old mill site beside a main forest service road near Prince George, in open ground rather than trees. The lake is small and stocked, and anglers are the main visitors.
Four campsites, first come, first served, with one pit toilet, tables, fire rings and natural pads. Access is gravel and the site is user-maintained, so pack out what you bring in.
The nearest town on record, Chief Lake, is about 27 km away and fuel about 38 km, so do your shopping and fuelling well before the turnoff. Loop Lake is about 3 km off.
